If you no longer want to use a card or wallet, you can easily delete a payment method from your Teloa account. That will help keep your account secure and organized.

Why you might delete a payment method

Over time, you may have cards that are expired, lost, or no longer in use. Deleting them helps:

  • Protect your account against unauthorized payments.

  • Keep your payment methods list clean and manageable.

  • Avoid confusion when selecting a card during checkout.


How to delete a payment method (step-by-step)

Step 1: Log in to your Teloa user.


Step 2: Go to Account on the slide-out menu and find your Payment Method section to tap the pencil symbol on the default method.

Step 3: Click Edit beside Cards and delete the card of your choice.

Step 4: Confirm removal.

If that card was your default for Autopay, you may want to assign a new default before deletion.


What happens after you delete

  • The card will be removed from your saved payment methods list.

  • Past transactions or recharges made using that card will remain recorded, deletion doesn’t undo payments.

  • You can always re-add the card later if needed.


Troubleshooting payment deletion

  • Can’t find the delete option: Make sure you’re logged in and your app or browser is updated. Check that you're in the correct Account > Payment Method section.

  • Error deleting a payment method: Refresh the page and try again, or log out and back in. Check if the card is tied to an active autopay.

  • Deleted card still appears: Clear cache or wait a few minutes for the update to process.

  • Accidentally deleted the wrong card: Add it again manually following the steps above.
